I have been accused of having a bleeding heart. I can't help it. I just have always tried to imagine myself in everyone else's skin, tried to see the world from all other points of view.

For a while I had to stop watching the news. It would sometimes haunt me for days, disturbing my sleep because in my mind I would recreate my world to live out the tragedies I had seen.

I felt I had no right to laugh and be happy, while there was such suffering in the world.

Then I heard Wayne Dyer ask something along the lines of, “Do your tears ease theirs?”

So now I try to imagine the suffering I observe on TV dissolving. I imagine sending those in pain loving energy. I don't know if it helps. But I know my own sorrow for their situations won't do any good.

I am a much lighter person now. I have a great sense of humor and try to use it to spread happiness in my immediate world.  I love to laugh and to make others laugh.

There is, of course, much more to me than this. My nickname, alone, indicates that. And if you believe in astrology, … well, let's just say I am a scorpio!
